"There is no other intention to my art than relinquishing my thoughts to canvas or getting a creative concept out - to give others a visual reflection of my creative inspiration. The beauty of art is its inherent imperfection: the lines will never be perfect, sometimes the paint will be too thin or too thick, but I let it tell it's story. When people engage with my art,I want them to think, to feel, to relate. I hope they find the magic in the meaning.
My aim is typically to find a peaceful medium between my hectic life as a mom of three. Finding a joyful, peaceful & successfully happy meaning to my life as a mom of three is fundamentally important to me at the end of the day; painting has become a natural release - I enjoy the silence it brings to my busy mind... as long as it continues to provide that, I will continue to paint.
In terms of my artistic process, I typically start off inspired by a few colours that I want to incorporate in a series and let the piece come to life from there...I'm more of a "creator" - art is not linear.” — Shar
