Alfonso was born in Juarez, México and moved to Vancouver in 2015 to work on animated films as a colour, lighting and composition artist.
"I learned to play with colours and composition at an early age; my mother is an interior designer and I grew up looking at Charles Eames and Herman Miller catalogues almost everyday. I was also raised by my great grandmother who would tell me all sort of stories daily and I was intrigued by storytelling from that point on. Street photography naturally interested me, but I didn’t start until the end of 2019. After the birth of my daughter I became inspired to document her life, which I still do everyday. I also document life in the city, as you can see from this collection."
